What can private Yoga lessons do for you? Here’s how one to one session can help you!

If you are new to yoga, you might find group classes overwhelming. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up when the rest of the class know exactly what to do. With private yoga classes, you won’t be left behind!

Even experienced practitioners can find group classes intimidating. Not having the advanced skills mastered can be off putting. During private classes you can focus on skills you want to gain in a very safe environment, by having someone to spot you at all time. Some people find that quiet, individual classes are much more comfortable for them. With no one else around, you are not being watched and you don’t have to worry about keeping up with the group.

We all want different things from yoga. We all want the benefits that fit our personal growth. With so many studios and teachers it can take a long time to find what exactly suits you. Having 1-1 sessions, speeds up that process as the class is fully designed for YOU! Maybe it’s stress and anxiety you want to manage or your lower back pain, or maybe what you want is a strong core and to learn all the crazy yoga tricks. With private class you can pick and choose what it is you want to focus on.

Have you ever rushed to a yoga class just so when you finally arrive you struggle to find a parking space? Once you finally park your car, you have to run into an overcrowded class and all the mat spaces at the top are taken and you are stuck close to the door at the back. Now, you can’t see the instructor and what’s worse, you have the door keep opening with latecomers (or Shavasana skippers!!).

Well… with your private classes you can forget all about that hustle! A private yoga teacher will arrive at your doorstep without you having to travel across town during rush hour!

Busy schedules are one of the top reasons why people don’t take care of their mental and physical health. There are always things getting in the way of practice: school runs, meetings, studying, grocery shopping, maybe you are self-employed and your hands are always full? Most group classes are early in the morning before people start work or in the evening after they finish. If neither of those work for you, it can be hard to fit your yoga practice in. When you hire a private yoga teacher your class schedule works on your terms. Instead of struggling to get to your class, the class comes to you!

You will learn the correct and safe alignment of each pose, which will speed up your growth. You will get stronger and flexible faster, with an understanding of the foundations of yoga practice.

Private classes are for everyone, from absolute beginners to advanced yogis. Some practitioners don’t find that group classes are challenging enough or don’t focus on the poses they want to improve. In private yoga classes, you will have an individual program created specifically for your needs. Your private teacher will create routines and drills that will help you work towards your yoga goals. This will take your practice to the next level!

8. Tailored class to your limitations, injuries or health concerns.

We are not the same. For some of us, injuries or health problems can make a group class impractical or worse, dangerous! It’s impossible for a teacher to give all the modifications for all individual issues for each student in public, busy classes. Private yoga will be totally designed and tailored to your injuries and any health concerns.

9. Great preparation for group classes.

Some people do private classes on a permanent basis; others use them to learn the techniques and alignment in preparation for joining a group class. During one-to-one sessions, you get to nail down the basics, which will help you feel confident in public classes.
